I have two upcoming events to share:

This Sunday, October 2 is the 10th Anniversary of the McLean Project for the Arts Artfest. It takes place at McLean Central Park from 10am - 5pm...rain or shine. I hope anyone in the area will stop by. I am one of 50 artists who will be displaying and selling their work at the event.

Starting Saturday, October 8 select images will be included in a group exhibit at the Popcorn Gallery at Glen Echo Park in Maryland entitled f11 presents Foto Friday. The exhibit showcases the work of nine fine art photographers who in the past year posted via email to each other new images every Friday that adhered to the theme of that particular week. The themes ran the gamut from Alienation to House of Cards. On the last Friday of each month members could submit a current work of any theme.

Members of f11 - A Women’s Photography Collective, are as follows: Christine Bernstein, Sheila Galagan, Silvia Gonzalez Roman, Carol Simons Huddleston, Blair Jackson, Meryl Silver, Jo Ann Tooley, Lillis Werder and Marisa S.White.

The exhibit will run through November 13, just in time for the start of FotoWeek DC. The Popcorn Gallery is open weekends from 12pm - 6pm.
